Terms and conditions
For contracts between Cyan IT GmbH and users of Vefraia. The German version is legally binding.

These terms apply to the narrative client, the Studio and the Vefraia platform. For organisations, the organisation contract applies in addition.
§ 2 Conclusion of contract
Signing up creates a free usage contract. Paid packs and subscriptions are concluded by clicking “Buy now (payment required)” or “Subscribe (payment required)”.
§ 3 Services
Free: simple scenarios with your own API key and one trial scenario. Premium: social scenarios with a quota of turns. Studio Pro: tools to create and test your own scenarios.
§ 4 Turns and quotas
A turn is one contribution in the conversation that the characters react to. Purchased turns never expire. Subscription quotas apply per billing month.
§ 5 Prices and payment
All consumer prices include VAT. Payment is processed by Mollie using the methods offered there.
§ 6 Term and cancellation
Studio Pro runs monthly and can be cancelled at any time to the end of the billing period – also via “Cancel contracts here” in the footer.
§ 7 Rights and content protection
Scenarios, character profiles and the engine are protected. Extracting, rebuilding, copying or distributing them is prohibited. Your own scenarios in the open format may be shared freely.
§ 8 Permitted use
Profiles, analyses and simulations must not be used for HR decisions (hiring, appraisal, promotion, dismissal, task allocation).
§ 9 Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations, whose fulfilment makes proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose observance you may regularly rely, and only up to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Otherwise liability is excluded. Insights are AI estimates, not psychological, legal or medical advice.
§ 10 Final provisions
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence remain unaffected.
